What makes a teacher great?

Imperfect Math

OK here I have a small sample size but it is true in every single case. I have determined just by being married to me you are a good teacher. My wife has been a teacher the whole time we’ve been married and my math example holds up.

A Strong Correlation

Our entire Book Club consist of teachers. So being in a book club with me is a harbinger of being a good teacher.

Once A Teacher

I was once a teacher at the college level. I don’t even know if I was a great teacher. My class got great reviews and I heard from students here later., but who knows if I was a good teacher.

Teachers are more than just teaching concepts and principles; they are awakeners of potential and facilitators of discovery. A great teachers recognizes that many student learn differently, and then teaching to those nuances of how people learn..

The teachers come home on Friday night, exhausted.

It’s a labor of love.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time.
