Who is your favorite historical figure?

I admire many a person of history but can, confidently state I do not have a favorite.

If I had to choose one, I would have to go with somebody who’ve watched make history. I still don’t think the right has gotten over having a black president.

Barack Obama governed with dignity and class.

Barack Obama’s presidency is considered successful by many due to his handling of the 2008 financial crisis, the passage of landmark legislation like the Affordable Care Act, and his focus on social issues like LGBT rights. He also oversaw the end of the Iraq War and the killing of Osama bin Laden.

He was far from perfect and I hope we all realize we are all far from perfect. In my opinion, if there were no Obama presidency, we probably would not have had this despotic burgermeister as head of the current regime.

Our nation needed to see who we are and in many cases it is not eloquent or pretty.

And I digress and flutter

Helen Keller, while primarily known for her advocacy for people with disabilities, was also a vocal advocate for peace and social justice. She believed in a world free from war and injustice and actively worked towards it through her speeches, writings, and activism. Keller’s commitment to peace stemmed from her own experiences overcoming adversity and her belief in the power of understanding and cooperation.

I hope you see a pattern here.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
