Feeding Ghosts, a 400 page graphic novel memoir of three generation of women, by Tessa Hulls, is a modern day Maus, seriously, the magnitude and personal nature and craft of this book is next level material, you will not be able to put this down, all the more amazing as this is Tessa Hull’s first book. -Ralph Mathieu

Feeding Ghosts

This is a stunning novel. I just finished reading this and I was floored. The is is not only a story of an escape from despotic rule, but also a glimpse into the demons around mental health and family. It is also a glimpse into the fine line between personal freedom and our urge to belong to a group or family.

The amount of love, sweat and toil that went into this is impressive. Not only does Tessa work and learn about this book, she taught herself Cantonese, Graphic arts and the nuance of fundraising. it was also a deep dive into an exploration of self.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
