What notable things happened today?

It is seven o’clock in tech morning and I am early into the day. To quote a song by the Cowboy Junkies, “The sun came up and it’s Friday morning.” I brushed my teeth, made a cup of coffee and started working, I then practiced German for a half hour.

It is notable because here I sit and record my morning in its banality and sameness. There is very little foreshadowing of what lies ahead. As we shall be in Pittsburgh, early tomorrow morning. In case you did not know this It was once asked of Pittsburgh to drop the H of its name.

I do have a German class at noon.

Es ist sieben Uhr morgens und ich bin früh in den Tag gestartet. Um ein Lied der Cowboy Junkies zu zitieren: “Die Sonne ist aufgegangen und es ist Freitagmorgen.” Ich habe mir die Zähne geputzt, eine Tasse Kaffee gemacht und angefangen zu arbeiten, dann habe ich eine halbe Stunde lang Deutsch geübt.

    Good on you, learning German! I’ve tried and compared to the romance languages that I feel pretty confident about German is tough! Have fun at your class

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.
