Having spent the last four or five days on the East Coast, as usual I took the time to just think about the difference of the two. My wife thinks there’s a big difference in it. I don’t think it’s all that big. West Coast is perceived as more layed back and the East Coast more aggressive.
The East Coast
- Humidity yes the East Coast humidity the West Coast not so much
- Sense of urgency -wait a few seconds to pull out at a stoplight on the East Coast and West Coast and you’ll spot the difference quite quickly
- Dunkin’ Donuts – there’s not much to be said here.
- Hoagies – the West Coast still has not figured this out. Me being vegan and not all that well qualified for this hyperbolic rap it is what it is. Excuse the cliché.
- And last, but not least, the thing I miss the most about the east coast.

Lightning Bugs – Fireflies, also known as lightning bugs, are bioluminescent beetles, meaning they produce light through a chemical reaction in their abdomens. They are found worldwide and are particularly active during the spring and early summer. Fireflies use their light displays primarily to attract mates, but they also use bioluminescence for other purposes like defense and signaling.
Due to various reasons, including global warming, development and pesticides fireflies are on the brink of extinction. Our children more than likely will not have the same memories we did when we were little.
There are steps we can take.

I would love to hear you opinion as well
