What’s the one luxury you do without?

Life on The Road

We are traveling a lot right now and unfortunately there are times we have to go the fast food route. Me being vegan makes it a tad tricky but not bad.

  1. Burger King -Chelsea a suburb of Boston. This was a two line extravaganza at the drive-through. Yes drive-throughs are embarrassing way of American life. We tried to get the attention of those working there for about five minutes and eventually did. After about 15 minutes, we eventually moved up to the food window and they told us we never placed an order. Yes the customer is never right. They did get the order right. **
  2. Taco Bell -Tacoma. When you order alfresco at Taco Bell, it’s supposed to be vegan. Well, some of them were and some of them were not.**
  3. Dairy Queen – Long View, i’m embarrassed to say an hour later I had a Dilly Bar as my wife likes the blizzards. I felt it at the bottom of my stomach on my run an hour later.***
  4. Bobs Clam Shack -Kittery Maine. Everybody wanted to get lobster rolls. I am philosophically opposed to cooking a lobster. I packed my lunch.**

We were traveling with children for some of this which also adds to the complexity. In 100% of the cases they got chicken nuggets. The ones at the clam shack looked decent. The kids gave them one star.*

Tip

When eating on the run wear a shirt to match the colors of the food you are eating.

Trust me

It’s really tricky, but it sounds great to be running around with the kids.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
