How do you know when it’s time to get some much needed rest ? What do you do to make it happen?

There is no plan

The quizzical thing is I am at that precipice and know it. I have this deep overwhelming desire to do absolutely nothing. There is no need to be productive or measure my lack there of.

How Do I Know?

I don’t.

Being the partner of a school principal, sometimes these decisions are laid out for you like an unknown circadian rhythm. It happens without you knowing it.

Unplug

Is a concept invented by my grandkids. They play and interact until they can’t anymore. Or at the very least when we send them to bed. Kids have this down, and somehow it has rubbed off on me. I used to have a difficult time falling asleep.

Now it Enters without Permission

Sleep and tranquility now find me. There is no waiting around for it. I am okay with that.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
