Do you have any collections?

Vinyl

When I was in grad school, I had over 1000 vinyl albums. One night someone came in my apartment and stole about 600 of them.

I don’t know why they didn’t steal the three copies of After the gold Rush by Neil Young.

I started this hobby about a year and a half ago and it’s not about collecting it’s about listening.

Books

Books are curious sort as I have a whole room full of books and I’ve read 90% of them. I don’t know why we collect books like this. I think we all do it.

Collection of Collections

I have more artist sketchbooks than I ever realized. I’m glad I saved them. They’re fun to look at and it’s good to see my progression or lack of.

I always walk around with a notebook writing things down or making little sketches. I keep them all.

Stickers

I love stickers and magnets and other trinkets. We are adding to our national park stamps.

Passport Stamps

My goal is not to go to as many countries as possible, but rather to go to a few countries and soak in the culture.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
