Congratulations

I just bought this book of a local artist. She worked on this book for more than 10 years.

In 2025, Tessa Hulls, a Seattle-based author and artist, won the Pulitzer Prize for her graphic memoir, “Feeding Ghosts,” in the Memoir or Autobiography category. The book explores Hulls’ family history, including her grandmother’s flight from China and the lasting impact of trauma across generations.

  • Feeding Ghosts:Hulls’ memoir tells the story of her Chinese grandmother, Sun Yi, who fled China after the Communist Revolution and the impact of her experiences on subsequent generations.

I just added this book to my list earlier today and am so looking forward to reading it once settled after the move.

I was riding the escalators at Barnes and Noble in Northgate and remember I wanted this book. The first printing had some defects so I got it at a cheaper price.

    Interesting. I’ll keep a lookout.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
