Daily writing prompt
What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?

I am a computer programmer much the same that Fred Flintstone drives a dinosaur. I would like to do this job for today and be done tomorrow.

That is not going to happen, but it sounds nice.

I have had many jobs in my life and without exception the first day on the job is usually rather awkward. You fill out a lot of paperwork while drinking from the hypothetical water house.

Then you get to the cafeteria for lunch, and you have no idea where to sit and with whom.

And then you get home from work and people ask you how the new job is. Your usual response is I love my new job.

That being said I would like to work Fred Flintstone’s dinosaur. I would get a new lunchbox with an anachronistic sticker and join the union.

Hopefully I would run into Fred and i have always wanted to ask him one question. How did you come to celebrate Xmas a billion years to the negative BC.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
