Have you ever been camping?

I still remember the first time I went camping. It was during my dad’s drinking days. We took three sleeping bags, threw them by a damp stream bed then put out our fishing poles and eventually fell asleep. it was downright horrible..

I remember one time outside of Boise. We were running a relay across Idaho (In Togas) myself and a few friends during an organized race. Between our running legs, we camped out. And that particular night we overslept and missed our exchange. We woke up to nothing but the stars. We had to run solo until we eventually caught up. We were a pretty fast team.

Another relay, Hood to Coast we were sleeping underneath the stars, watching shooting stars all night long. It was difficult to sleep as the elk were mating and calling each other. It was my introduction to Oregon.

We have an entire section of our garage for just camping stuff.

These days, I prefer a bed.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
