My wife brought me back a cool sketchbook from Japan. I’ve been adding simple little drawings that I have done. The project ahead of me is to take these pictures and put a story to them.

Usually people write a story and then put pictures to them. My goal is to do the opposite.

I would like you to meet my main character who’s sitting on a wall. Her name is Colleen. She is a determined girl living in either Berlin or Austin Texas. I haven’t figured that out yet. She may be a modern day little red riding Hood.

The other character on the left is a curious sort. He looks for hidden meaning in everything.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
