I remember sitting in the back of my parents station wagon and I got a Matt Christopher book about baseball. I was munching on a peanut butter egg and reading the book and got carsick. Don’t read baseball books in back of the station wagon.

That being said, I have a hard time grasping the whole Easter story. There are caves, miracles rocks, death, and resurrection. I love fiction, but it’s entertainment to me.

Another thing I don’t like about Easter is the ham carcass. Why do we have to kill so many animals just to celebrate a holiday.

And then we move onto the fictional part, where does that bunny fit into Easter?

Those with faith stronger than I. I’m impressed. I truly am. There are times I wish I had it, but I’m too quizzical for that.

The least they could do is give us Monday off like they do in Europe.

Gorgeous gorgeous photo! Easter was my favorite holiday as a child. I loved going to church all dressed up with gloves, purse and patent leather shoes. My son liked the hunts and chocolate at school. It’s really a big fertility festival. 🙂

I meant to say, that I think it’s an easily adaptable holiday. No need for ham at all, lots of veggies for rabbits and the feeling of Spring. Baskets and sunshine. I think it’s an easy update.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
