Circa 1984

It was a Friday afternoon in Williamsburg, Virginia. The school week was over and we were ready to have a little party. My friend Amy walked over to me and slipped her hand in my pocket. She left it there for a while

She got my attention. She winked, smiled and walked away.

I reached into my pocket and there was a cassette tape with this album on it. I have been an REM fan ever since.

Today marks the 42nd anniversary of its release.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
