How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

I cannot wrap my head around this question as I’m not much of a goal setter. I know the direction I want to go, but certainly I don’t see any landmarks along the way. Again, there are land mines.

On Travel

My wife’s going to Japan this Thursday, but I’m staying home. This is such a paradox. My goal is always been to be in great places I’ve never been. Then in steps that damn thing known as a job. So somewhere deep inside, there’s a goal I’m not exactly sure what it is.

To The Soccer Pitch

Five minutes into the game I make a break down the right wing, break, free and go to take a shot. I may score, but it’s less likely so I passed to a teammate who’s open on the left. He slots it home. I didn’t score a goal, but we did.

Little Things Big Things

I set a goal on Sunday to finish the short story that I am writing. And you know what I finished it. In retrospect, I may have set the goal after I finished the story. Who knows.

Dream Big -write your own story.

I want to move to Canada, but then again I’m not the center of the universe

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
