Are you superstitious?

I do have a favorite short, it’s comfortable and has meaning for me,

So a little, very little.

I eat sauerkraut on new years. But no.

The dumbing down of American is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30 second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance”

And back to Stevie Wonder

Very superstitious, nothing more to say
Very superstitious, the Devil’s on his way
13-month-old baby, mm, broke the looking glass
Seven years of bad luck, good things in your past, mm

When you believe in things that you don’t understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain’t the way, no, no, no

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
