Weekends is where our schedules free up a little. And still we have to get things done. I try to avoid terms such as action items and checklists of items that have to be done. That too much like corporate life.

I believe grocery shopping as an adult became a symbol for me that I’m free to do what I want. We have the little app that makes lists that we share. So of course I’m buying groceries my wife wants as well. I am completely vegan. She’s not.

But groceries give us the freedom to eat what we want, make the choices that we want and cook how we want. So in a way I enjoy grocery shopping.

The Grocery List App

As for that app that makes grocery lists that I share with my wife, I am a database programmer and I’ve developed similar applications. I hope whoever developed this simple little app isn’t making lists of things that they have to do on the weekend.

On Daylight Savings Time

Somewhere in the middle of the night, an hour of our weekend will just spontaneously combust and will be gone forever.

Do something stupid, and you can kind of erase it.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
