Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

We move through phases of life without detecting any motion forward or backward. I had a practice marriage of fourteen years and moving on from that was difficult.

Who knows, all we are trying to do is survive and be the best version of ourselves, even though you may be a living breathing train wreck. You don’t even know you are saying goodbye rather preparing for the next adventure.

I even have a hard time saying goodby to a favorite t shirt. You have worn this short almost every day and it has to be discarded. It is a hard thing to do, unless your partner sneaks in your closet and puts the shirt out of its misery.

Have you ever looked at an old photo and said. That was an awesome shirt. Where did it go?

Do you ever have moments when you want to talk about something with your parents. And then you realize they are gone forever as well.

My kids have those moments. I’m like, you didn’t notice that giant Barney stuffed animal was gone for a decade, so I think he found a better home. 🙂

Beautiful sentiment, regarding loss yet presence.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
