Generational differences are nothing new, but Gen Z has a unique way of rethinking traditions and habits that older generations have held onto for decades.

While the baby boomers swear by these routines, many Gen Zers view them as unnecessary or outdated. Here are the everyday habits Gen Z finds pointless.

Balancing a Checkbook -This was my presentation in Accounting as an Undergrad. It was rather banal.

Using Paper Maps -Remember Trip Kits at AAA. They were pretty cool. I have never successfully refolded a map.
Writing Checks– only write them to buy a newspaper subscription
Buying Physical Newspapers
Keeping a Phone Book -A Jerk once proclaimed, “The phone books are here.”
Printing Photos -sometimes artwork comes out pretty damn cool
Using Landline Phones -find a phone booth and change into your superhero costume.
Ironing Clothes -thou shall iron your pajamas.
Memorizing Phone Numbers -Jennys number is still 867-5309
Sending Letters by Mail -If I could only find the stamps.
Wearing a Watch-this one is BS. Most people I know wear a Garmin or some fitness monitor.
Using Cash -The pot buying the pot at the pot store.
Wearing Business Attire Daily -was beudetet das

Playing Vinyl records – Alone Again Naturally.

Some are reaching consciously for these things, though, especially records and letter writing, old-timey crafts like knitting.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
