Who are your favorite people to be around?

I love being around young people. I rather enjoy hanging out with my adult children. It is a bit of an adventure as they live in Germany and Seattle.

But then there are their children. Being a grandparent is a pretty good gig and I am rather good at it.

I spend the most time with my wife and it is rather effortless. It amazes me how smooth and polished our relationship can be. Of course there are bad days, which make us give thanks for the good days. They are special.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
