List five things you do for fun.

what provides amusement or enjoyment. specifically : playful often boisterous action or speech. full of fun. 2. : a mood for finding or making amusement..

What is your folly and why do you do them.

  1. I originally started running many years ago and not to have fun. As I grew older running became a folly and a lark as it was meant to be.
  2. Writing stories – some days it’s a grind and some days it is a pure whimsical adventure
  3. Spending time with the grandkids – seeing the world through a kids eye is your pure definition of fun. It certainly keeps the mind nimble. Who’s not in for riding an escalator in Barnes and Noble for an hour just because it’s an adventure.
  4. Painting and Drawing – I think I find the greatest escape here. I go wherever I want to go without any remorse.
  5. Soccer – I played and excelled in many sports; however, football is a great joy in my life. It is pure poetry. I basically suck at it.
  6. Learning German – is it fun, is it worth the time -who knows. It’s very similar to running fifty miles around Mt Hood. It simply has to be done.
  7. And I read plenty.

Not all who wander are lost

Number three is so true! My grandson used to be obsessed with riding the elevator for no apparent reason other than the fun of getting on and off and pushing the buttons lol

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
