Dry

What Tasks Do you Abhor?

We are in the middle of patching a wall in the guest bedroom. A few weeks ago We removed the old drywall and cleaned up the area fairly well.

I can only do this in small increments because I detest drywall projects.

I don’t like measuring and I outsourced this to my wife. Actually we both measure and if we agree we go with it. Measure twice and cut once is the handyman axiom.

Watch YouTube is another.

Working with drywall is dirty stinky mess. The dust gets everywhere. Of course our black border collie wants to help and now he is a mess. If he goes out into the rain he may turn into a statue.

But we are ready to screw and mud.

Operating a screw gun is fun and mudding should be innocuous. I am writing this post instead of heading downstairs and working on the project. I am not a procrastinator, except when it comes to projects I detest. Drywalling sits at the top of the list.

So that’s where we are at with this project. There isn’t even a decent soccer game today to use as an excuse.

Look at this couple changing a lightbulb. That looks like a project I can get behind.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
