Do you or your family make any special dishes for the holidays?

With respect for those not celebrating Thanksgiving, I will share our family’s special dish(s). Thanksgiving is a time where people in the United States kill a bunch of Turkeys and eat them.

For respect of the animals I prepare Vegan Mac and Cheese for a celebration tonight. For my daughter I will be making vegan shepherds pie. It is her favorite. My wife is making cool salads and she is making pumpkin chocolate chips.

I just talked to my daughter in Germany and she and her husband are making a unique Egyptian dish which I quite like.

My son in law, in Seattle, is making his traditional sweet potato with Corn flakes.

We all express in our own unique way and I am thankful for that.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time.
