Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?

That I am able to make the choice.

It’s like asking do you prefer vanilla or Strawberry. They are rather great choices. the words from a Michal Stipe song resonates so true.

I can taste the ocean on your skin

I love the ocean so much.

The peace and absolute is deafening.

The smells sublime.

The memories overwhelming.

And the mountains spectacular.

They are both so close here in The Pacific Northwest. Some days you don’t have to choose.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time.
