When I was an over worried young ten-year-old kid, I simply did not like the superhero TV shows like most other kids. I preferred the high brow art form of Gilligan’s Island. The Three Stooges were inane and trivial, Bullwinkle was a bad ass. Dark Shadows was too scary for my developing brain, Roller Derby was really cool. Those were different times, yet they were not.

The Superhero stuff is worth revisiting. The theme was always the same. It was the good vs. evil with the villain grabbing more power than he (in all cases) could handle. It could have been Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman or The Fantastic Four.

It is no different than our world today. We have the super rich with passion for power and obtaining more wealth. This is despite the damage to the environment, the lives of everyday people, and the world we have come to enjoy living in.

Superman in the tight spandex is going to be me and you.

Tax the rich.

It is time to be be justifiably angry.

You see, most people think
Great God will come from the skies
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high
But if you know what life is worth
You will look for yours on Earth
And now you see the light
You stand up for your rights

Rise Up

She was my favorite, so much so that I had dreams about flying invisible planes. 😀

I honestly don’t know super hero’s, but I did want a woman to represent Superheroes

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
