I have been in Target two weekends in a row which is a statistical outlier.

My wife was doing the shopping and I had very little to add other than to observe. I noticed a man who just purchased a broom and I believe a dustpan. He looked so confident, so adult and ready to tackle the task at hand.

He probably had a sidewalk to sweep or possibly a kitchen floor. Or possibly he was going to fly home on the broom.

Drop those stereotypes.

It’s possible.

I remember being that age and making those trivial purchases. It felt so adult to have a clean kitchen floor.

My mind wonders while shopping at Target.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
