In grad school, We were working on an advanced marketing project. Our marketing team was lagging far behind all other teams. And we were sitting in a review meeting with the professor.

The teacher listened to our status on the project and paused for a few seconds seeming to choose his words carefully.

In a kind voice. he uttered these four words.

“READ THE F@CKi@G DIRECTIONS.”

With new found insight, we eventually ended up acing the project and won this marketing competition.

I still have difficulty reading directions, but when struggling with a project I do revert to these words. It seems to help.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
