Last week there were loud hints of Autumn In the air.

This week global warming is back in fashion,

Another damn heat wave.

I don’t like air conditioning but marriage is a democracy.

We got home from the soccer match

and out team lost.

And she wants cold filtered air.

Conveniently now the air conditioning no longer works.

It’s broken kaput

Our soccer team had no electricity

Fuze boxes are mythical scary things to me.

Their logic is somewhat beyond me.

Until it isn’t.

I start flipping switches and find the g-spot.

The air conditioning revs into motion.

My wife yells down stairs it’s working.

I walk upstairs feeling like a genius,

Despite being deathly afraid of electricity

Specifically fuse boxes.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
