There are singular moments that stick in your mind. I talked about the moment where Joe Biden said he’s not running for president and that was a singular moment where I’ll probably always remember where I was.

Here is another small moment, I had decided to make a big life change and go to grad school. I was leaving Delaware and heading to Virginia over the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. I was getting ready to start grad school the next day at the College of William And Mary. I somehow forget that I went to school there and it was kind of special.

This song came on the radio as I drove across the bridge,

I remember the thirty-five sweet goodbyes
When you put me on the Wolverine up to Annandale
It was still September
When your daddy was quite surprised
To find you with the working girls in the county jail
I was smoking with the boys upstairs when I
Heard about the whole affair, I said oh no
William and Mary won’t do

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
