What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?

The one constant I have in my life is what I eat. I have been completely plant based for longer than a decade. I don’t do that for me, I do it for the animals as well as the planet still, it makes me feel good, it is not necessarily healthier, but in a sense it is. There must be some symmetry, in not consuming any cholesterol.

For my entire adult life, I have been consistent about getting exercise every single day. I used to be a competitive marathoner and these days I have been swimming, running and doing weight workouts. My wife and I go to the gym about 4 to 5 times a week. The gym is nice but also that time we have together as we hold each other accountable.

I do practice my German every single day. Every time I go to Germany, I’m a little better and I’m starting to feel some real improvement. It keeps me challenged and better able to speak with family who also speak German.

Balance

I know I put this together quickly, as I try not to get into a rut, doing the same thing every single day. Even with exercise and diet, the body gets used to a certain routine. That is also true for the mind. So I try to mix it up and surprise myself a little bit.

I would love to hear you opinion as well

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
