At one time Summers were beautiful here. Recent summers we get no rain from July 4th until the beginning of October.

I am an admitted pluviophile.

Noun. pluviophile (plural pluviophiles) (neologism) One who loves rain; one who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days.

And today we are getting a rare late July rain.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time.
