Go ask Alice

When she was eight, Alice Henderson briefly held the world record for filling her mouth with marbles. The first question that one usually asks is who keeps these records and how did this get noticed for this grandiose display of skill. But that’s a little bit beside the point. Alice was a quirky bird in the town that rewarded mediocrity and conformity. This drove her parents bonkers, but it was a badge of honor for Alice. Bonkers was a word she used often to describe people and events. She had three older brothers who lived in the spotlight. Now she was looking for a little light of her own. That was three years ago, but she still holds that record. Who knows how long someone holds a record. Some world records stand for decades, this has held up for the last three years and no contender seemed to be stepping up.

And then one day Alice lost her marbles and she couldn’t decide if things were looking up.

She certainly didn’t want to be joining the hot dog eating circuit.she was vegan.

It was time to grow some mushrooms.
