Every minute we live on this planet we are as young as we ever will be and old as we have been. I would like to think we have earned an appreciation of what matters in life. As we get older everything is a sparkling new experience in a brand-new mind and body. So, every day is the apex of where we are going. Living life with that experience and vision is far more interesting now. And hopefully we embrace that despite

I can’t run as fast

We don’t have sex as often.

I take medications

I weigh 15 pounds more than I want to.

And then any small experience is beautiful. A bird singing in the tree, a good morning from your granddaughter or a simple 10-mile bike ride around the neighborhood.

There is beauty in everything, we just have to look for it.

We have learned, now we experience with zeal.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
