Art is Everywhere

I just submitted a story for publication. The story somewhat wrote itself. It was based on a story my seventeen year nephew old told me about his job at Target. I like the story, let’s see if it gets published.

There is a character in the story named Coleen. Coleen is based on a girl who was in my seventh grade class. There is no particular reason why I use this character. It helps with visualization. The male character his name is Walter. I believe it is based on Walter The Farting dog.

What ever I need to anchor a story I use it.

My wife found pastel pencils at a yard sale. I am like a kid at times.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
