Cast in Irony

What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

I have had this cast iron skillet since my Undergrad days at State College. It is truly a magical thing as I use it for almost all dishes that I prepare. I am a very good cook. This skillet is extremely versatile and can boil, simmer, fry and bake. It cleans up well and maintains its integrity through the years.

I wouldn’t even know where to buy a beauty such as this.

We have purchased similar, but in the words of Sinead O’Connor, “

I can eat whatever I choose
I can eat my dinner in a fancy restaurant

But Nothing Compares To You”,

I believe it was a gift from my Mom.

It is one gift I will always appreciate.

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
