Tales From I5 -Exit 101

We don’t do fast food often, but we do on our trips up and down the I5 corridor going from Portland to Seattle and back.

I am completely plant-based and my wife pretty much. I usually order the alfresco meal which is a bean burrito, and I ask for extra tomatoes and onions. I always have to emphasize hold the cheese. Surprisingly they’re pretty good about it. My wife orders I believe it is the Crunch Wrap supreme and she says please hold the tomatoes.

They charge me for extra tomatoes and charge my wife the usual price. My simple goal is to have them take the tomatoes off my wife’s and put it on mine, free of charge.

I have not yet succeeded.

Sometimes I can be a very simple person. Sometimes the world is not.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
