Dear Abby

List the people you admire and look to for advice…

We look for advice in all the expected places. Listening to advice without hearing criticism is an art as fine as painting and writing. This piece of advice is from my wife ,solicited or not.

In many endeavors I try to surround myself with people who are better than me. Better runners, better writers , younger programmers make me better at what I do,

However, the richest advice comes from our kids. They walk around without accrued cynicism and they have plenty more at stake. You even look at the protests on college campuses today.

Over our history, when have the students been wrong?

Listen from the bottom of your ears.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
