Being lost

I don’t live to work, but here I’m going to reflect on work. It is rather uncomfortable to be in the middle of solving a large complex problem. When you’re seeking the solution, you feel like you’re lost. It is very similar to being lost in the woods on a really remote cool place in the woods.

Most of us hike on places where we are familiar. And certainly we need that. When we venture off the beaten path and we’re lost for a while it is really scary but we do find our way.

It is uncomfortable to be lost. But that’s a cool part of being lost. As we find our way and find solutions, it can be one of the best feelings. In order to find that feeling you must venture outside our comfort zone.

I’m Mark

His friends observe Mark seems wired a little differently. Perhaps it’s more likely that noticing little things often missed by others is a relic of a quieter, simpler time. He has a way with words, which he refuses to let be hindered by sub-par typing skills. People have great stories to tell if you sit and listen.

A belief dear to Mark is that there is certain beauty in the world. You simply have to look for it.
